These dishes are cooked twice. Firstly thay are marinated overnight, skewered and barbecued in the tandoor and then they are cooked in specially prepared tandoori sauce, cooked with fresh cream, ground almonds, coconut flour and sultanas. Garnished with almond flakes and fresh cream.

Balti Dishes (Medium)                                

Balti dishes are cooked twice. Firstly, they are marinated and barbecued in the tandoor and then they are cooked and served in a sizzling iron wok with the sauce made from specially selected spices and herbs, cooked with capsicum, onions and tomatoes. Garnished with cucumber, tomatoes, fresh coriander and served with Pilau rice or Naan Bread.

Chef’s Recommended Dishes

Mirch Mossala (Chicken or Lamb/Hot) Marinated spring chicken or tender lamb, roasted in the tandoor, then cooked in a specially prepared tandoori sauce. Cooked with ground almonds,coconut flour, fresh green chillies and fried garlic. Garnished with corriander.

Gosht Makhani (Chicken or Lamb/Mild)  Marinated diced pieces of chicken or lamb, barbecued and cooked in a mild sauce with ground almonds,  Indian cheese, coconut butter and fresh cream.

Achari Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Medium) Spring chicken or tender lamb, marinated and barbecued, then cooked in a medium sauce with fresh green herbs and mango pickle. Garnished with corriander.

Bengal Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Hot) Marinated spring chicken or tender lamb grilled and cooked in a fairly hot sauce with pieces of fried garlic and bullet chillies.  Served in a sizzling iron wok.

Dhaaba Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Medium) Diced pieces of spring chicken or tender lamb marinated and barbecued. Then cooked in a spicy sauce with spinach, green chillies and fresh cream. Simply delicious.  

Persian Biriani (Chicken or Lamb/Mild) Marinated spring chicken or tender lamb, grilled in the tandoor, briskly fried with pilau rice, almond flakes, sultanas, lychees, pineapple and light spices. Served with a special sauce.

Kashmiri Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Mild) Diced spring chicken or tender lamb marinated and grilled. Then cooked in mild sauce with almond powder, coconut flour, lychees and fresh cream.

Chefs Special (Medium) This special dish is prepared with a medium blend of spices and herbs, cooked with Lamb, Chicken, Prawns and Mushrooms. Also with Onion and Tomatoes. Served on a sizzling iron wok.           

Jalfrezi (Chicken or Lamb/Hot) Diced pieces of Chicken or tender Lamb grilled in the tandoor and then cooked with spicy onions, sliced green chillies, tomatoes and capsicum in a fairly hot blend of spices and herbs.  Served on a sizzling iron wok.     

Karahi Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Medium) Diced pieces of Spring Chicken or tender Lamb marinated overnight, barbecued in the tandoor, then cooked in sauce with fresh ginger, capsicum, onions and tomato with a hint of Garam Mossala. Served on a sizzling iron wok.   

Tandoori Karahi Jhinga (Medium) Whole succulent King Prawns, marinated overnight, barbecued in the tandoor, then cooked in a medium sauce with fresh ginger, capsicum, onions and tomatoes with a hint of garam mossala.  Served on a sizzling iron wok.    Chefs Special Karahi    Preparation as above but this dish is cooked with Chicken Tikka, Lamb Tikka, Sheek, Kebab and Tandoori King Prawns.  

Tikka Biriani (Chicken or Lamb/Medium) Marinated sliced Spring Chicken or tender Lamb roasted in the tandoor, briskly fried in light spices with almond flakes, sultanas and Pilau Rice.  Garnished with egg omelette, cucumber, tomatoes and served with a special curry sauce.

Chefs Special Biriani Preparation as above but this dish is cooked with Chicken Tikka, Lamb Tikka, and Tandoori King Prawns.  Paneer Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Medium Diced pieces of marinated chicken or lamb, barbecued and cooked in a medium sauce with fresh green herbs and Indian cheese, Bhuna style. Garnished with corriander.                               

Roshoon Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Medium) Marinated Chicken or tender Lamb barbecued in the tandoor then cooked in medium to hot sauce with green peppers, methi and large pieces of fried garlic.  Served on a sizzling iron wok. (Ideal for garlic lovers, just make sure you’re not at work the next day)

Gosht Padina (Chicken or Lamb/Mild) Marinated diced pieces of Spring Chicken or tender Lamb barbecued in the tandoor, then cooked in fairly mild sauce with ground almonds, fresh garden mint and mild green herbs with a touch of fresh cream.

Gosht Hawally (Hot) Marinated diced pieces of Spring Chicken and tender Lamb barbecued in the tandoor, then cooked together in a fairly hot sauce with fresh ginger, spring onions, green peppers, pickled chillies, fresh coriander and a touch of methi. Truly an exotic dish served on a sizzling iron wok. )      

Murgh Mossala (Medium) Two whole pieces of Chicken breast fillet marinated and grilled in the tandoor, then cooked with spicy minced Lamb in a medium sauce with tomatoes, onions and methi.  Served on a platter plate and garnished with tomatoes, cucumber and served with salad.            

Roshoon Mirch Gosht (Chicken or Lamb/Very Hot) Marinated Chicken or tender Lamb barbecued in the tandoor then cooked in a very hot garlic sauce with sliced green chillies, sliced green peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served on a sizzling iron wok.

Pasanda (Chicken or Lamb/Mild) Diced pieces of marinated Chicken or tender Lamb cooked in a rich sauce with ground almonds, fresh cream and fresh mild spices.  Garnished with cashew nuts, pistachios and fresh cream.

Gosht Shezaan (Chicken or Lamb/Mild) Thinly sliced marinated spring chicken or tender lamb, cooked in a rich creamy sauce with mango pulp, ground almonds, coconut flour and our home-made yoghurt. Garnished with cashew nuts and fresh cream.

Horrin Special Bhuna – Venison (Medium) Diced Deer meat, marinated overnight in green herbs, yoghurt, lemon juice, fresh ginger and spices, barbecued in the tandoor, then cooked with green peppers and spiced onions in a medium sauce made from chefs specially selected spices and herbs. Garnished with cucumber tomatoes and fresh corriander and served with salad.

Horrin Tikka Special Diced pieces of Deer meat marinated overnight and then grilled in the tandoor.  Served with green salad, mint yoghurt sauce. Served on a sizzler.

Nawabi Special, Duck (Mild) Fillets of Duck marinated overnight in fresh lemon juice, garam mossala, yoghurt and fresh green herbs, barbecued in the tandoor, then cooked in a rich creamy sauce with ground almonds, coconut flour, pistachios and sultanas. Garnished with cashew nuts, pistachios and fresh cream.

Nawabi Special, Bhuna Duck (Medium) Fillets of Duck marinated overnight in fresh lemon juice, garam mossala, yoghurt, fresh ginger and fresh green herbs. Nawabi Special Jalfrezi Duck (Hot) Fillets of Duck marinated overnight in fresh lemon juice, garam mossala, yoghurt, fresh ginger and fresh green herbs, then cooked in a hot sauce with spicy onions, green peppers, green chillies, fresh tomatoes, served in a sizzling iron wok.

Akhbori Special, Lamb (Medium) Fillets of Lamb tenderised and marinated overnight in fresh ginger, yoghurt, our home-made pickle and green herbs. Then cooked in a medium sauce with Chefs specially selected spices and herbs. Served on a sizzling iron wok.

Khyber Special, Chicken (Lightly spiced, fairly dry) This dish is cooked in a large wok type pan with handles at each side in which the tribesmen of the Khyber Pass cooked their food over an open fire.  The dish itself is cooked with specially selected spices and herbs and stir fried in the iron wok with pure butter ghee, capsicum and tomatoes.  Served on a sizzling iron wok.

Rupchanda Machi Biran (Seabass/Mild) Two whole fillets of seabass, pan fried with onions, green peppers and chef’s specially selected spices.  Served with a special sauce and salad.
